Getting started with DISE Premium

Installation
The first step is to download and install the DISE Premium player software on your player computer. This easy step by step guide will get you started in no time.

Download installer
Browse to your given DISE Server network address to log in, preferably on the player computer. You can use any web browser you like.

Enter your Username and Password. The network should be pre-filled.

Go to System > Downloads > Windows Player Installer. The computer should now download the installer package.

Install the software
If you didn’t download the file directly on the player computer, move it to that device with a USB for example. Double click on the installer package to run it. Go through all the steps and accept the terms.

Discovery code
Restart your player. Please note that this might take a while.
Once the computer has stared, a 6-digit discovery code will appear on the screen. This code is unique to the player. Make a note of it because you will need it in the next step.

Go back to DISE CMS to connect your player.

Add a player
Go to Players in the left menu and click NEW PLAYER.

You can also create a new player in the group level. To move players and groups, simply click the padlock symbol to drag and drop.

Connect it

In the dialog appearing, enter a name and the 6-digit discovery code. A good tip is to name it to the location, for example “coffee room”. Lastly click save.

Here you will be given the option to add a playlist. Click in the playlist field and a list will appear. Search for your playlist, or find it in the list. Don’t forget to publish in Overview!
If you don’t have a playlist, you can skip this for now.

You will notice that the player software on the screen will subsequently receive the settings, register with DISE Server and download the assigned content.
